Ethics and Compliance
Documentation
Knowledge, prevention, and reporting for a transparent operation.
We document our commitment to integrity and risk management through the Code of Ethics and Conduct, manuals, and policies that guide the behavior of our employees and partners, ensuring that every decision is aligned with our corporate values.
The Code defines the standards of behavior expected by the organization and guides how Esenttia and its strategic partners act, promoting integrity and business ethics as a core principle to build trust in the company's management and ensure compliance with commitments to the organization's different stakeholders.
Codes
To ensure the achievement of strategic pillars and the fulfillment of value promises to our stakeholders, we have implemented the following manuals and policies, which serve as general guidelines for our Compliance Program.
Esenttia has implemented the LA/FT/FPADM Comprehensive Risk Self-Control and Management System (SAGRILAFT) and the Transparency and Business Ethics Program (PTEE), which enable the identification, measurement, evaluation, monitoring, and control of associated risks. The guidelines, procedures, mechanisms, and instruments for the proper management of these risks are developed in the SAGRILAFT Process Manual and the Compliance Program Process Manual, duly approved by the company's Board of Directors.
We provide secure and confidential mechanisms to report any improper conduct. In addition to our internal Ethics Line, we facilitate access to additional channels from government entities, ensuring that citizens and stakeholders have multiple spaces to promote transparency.
It is a confidential and secure mechanism, which may be anonymous if desired, operated by an independent company. It allows employees, suppliers, and third parties to report situations that are not aligned with our values, or to seek guidance when they are not sure how to act.
This channel helps protect what is important to everyone and ensures that our decisions and operations are always carried out ethically, transparently, and responsibly, following the highest standards of integrity and good practices in everything we do.

The SRI is Esenttia's strategic model for managing the effects of uncertainty on our objectives. Its structure is based on the principles, reference framework, and Single Management Cycle defined by Law 87 of 1993 and Decree 1083 of 2015 (Art. 2.2.21.4.9), integrating international standards (ISO 31000 and COSO) and the best practices of the Ecopetrol Group.
This system makes it possible to identify, assess, and treat risks at strategic, tactical, and operational levels, ensuring asset protection and business continuity under our Code of Ethics and Conduct. The Ethics and Compliance Management area independently leads the articulation of the SRI, under the supervision of the Board of Directors' Audit and Finance Committee, guaranteeing transparency and the generation of comprehensive value.
At Esenttia, we apply a systematic methodology for treating all organizational risks. This Single Cycle ensures that each event is managed under criteria of technical rigor and transparency, following these stages:
- Planning and Context: Definition of scope and analysis of internal and external environments to align risks with strategic objectives.
- Comprehensive Identification: Proactive detection of risks through information analysis and participation by process leaders.
- Evaluation and Assessment: Technical analysis of the probability of occurrence and potential impact to prioritize management.
- Strategic Treatment: Execution of actions aimed at reducing, transferring, accepting, or avoiding identified risks.
- Monitoring and Communication: Continuous monitoring of the risk profile, verification of controls, and reporting of alerts to ensure that exposure remains within the defined tolerance levels.
The Risk Map is the official oversight tool that consolidates critical events that could impact the achievement of Esenttia's strategic objectives. This instrument is periodically validated by the Board of Directors and Senior Management, ensuring that the company's management is aligned with the current environment and best governance practices.
The constant updating of this map ensures that Esenttia maintains rigorous control over its risk profile, prioritizing mitigation resources and actions in the areas of greatest relevance for business sustainability.
