The industrial launch of the Renault Kwid, affectionately named the «Choco Project» by those who promoted this innovation, makes history in the innovation of the Colombian automotive industry. This sustainable model, proudly manufactured by Colombian hands at the RENAULT-Sofasa plant in Envigado, will feature several key parts made with biocomposites that incorporate and utilize by-products derived from Colombian cocoa, maintaining their functionality and durability properties.

We proudly received the Honoris Recognition for Excellence in Safety, Health at Work, and Environment Culture 2025, granted by the Colombian Safety Council (CCS), thanks to our commitment and the implementation of good practices related to safe, diverse, and inclusive work environments that positively impact the people who are part of Esenttia.

Esenttia, a subsidiary of the Ecopetrol Group, inaugurated its first recycled plastic resin plant in the municipality of San Antonio de Prado, Antioquia.

The 05T01 terpolymer provides efficiency in production, sealing stability, and design flexibility. With low sealing start temperature, good transparency, high processability, and compatibility with recyclable structures, this material is made to respond to the current challenges of flexible mono-material packaging.
